Jawad Ansari brings more than 15 years of investment experience and extraordinary global relationships to the GCube. Ansari is the founder and former General Partner of Miven Venture Partners, a $100M fund focused on Media and Consumer investments in China, India and US in 2005, targeting early stage consumer-focused technology opportunities (software, silicon, devices, web, and mobility) and media (content creation, distribution, management). Ansari is the founder and former Chairman & CEO of Corporate Metrix, a diversified investments firm in California founded in 2003, with assets under management of $3 billion. He has built strong relationships with leading venture capital funds, private equity funds, hedge funds, and leading investment banks globally and institutional limited partners; and brings GCube and its portfolio companies’ access to investors.

Shiraz Akmal co-founded GCube after parting from THQ as the vice president. He managed more than 500 staff who comprised the central divisions of THQ's product development organization including: the outsourcing division (XDG), Motion Capture, Quality Assurance, Localization, Customer Service, Music, Engineering and Voice and Sound. Most recently, in his role as founder of THQ XDG, his team has been instrumental in streamlining and growing the company's global product development capabilities through outsourcing and expanding THQ’s footprint into Asia. With more than six years as an executive director and a founding member of THQ's Heavy Iron Studios, Shiraz brings 20 years of creative, technical, and operational experience to GCube. Shiraz's career highlights include directing a string of multi million selling video game titles including Disney/Pixar’s The Incredibles, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants, and Scooby-Doo! He was also involved in programming several genre-defining products such as, You Don't Know Jack, The Netshow and the After Dark screen saver. Additionally, his first videogame was published at age 17.
